Don't get me wrong, the view in the grand scheme of things was great, you are surrounded by the winery's vineyards, but you're also just off the main highway so you have the view and audio of cars driving by. My only two complaints would be the price ($30 for a tasting, $40 for a picnic basket, and the wines in general are on the pricier side), and the view. Even after your tasting you can continue to hang out, so you can spend the whole day there as long as you'd like, as long as you buy a bottle or a picnic basket. Afterwards, we borrowed one of the winery's mexican blankets and sat on the green hill and had another glass of wine. The woman helping us with our tastings was super sweet and knowledgeable.
We had a tasting of four wines which we all liked, two white and two red. We arrived a few minutes after our appointment time, which was not an issue, and were immediately seated a nice big picnic table.
But the entire time we were there, there were only handful of groups there, making for a nice and intimate setting. We knew this place was popular and trendy, so we were expecting a crowded winery with mediocre service but great views. I came here with my two best friends and we had the best and most lovely Sunday afternoon.
